Ariel Bart is a harmonica player and composer.
Starting at the age of 7, Ariel has made the chromatic harmonica her primary focus, developing a distinctive sound through her compositions.
Her debut album, In Between (spring 2021, Ropeadope Records), introduced her innovative sound, which was further developed in her second album, Documentaries (Ropeadope Records).
Ariel graduated from the New School University for Jazz and Contemporary Music in May 2020, studying under notable musicians such as Aaron Parks, Reggie Workman, and Anat Cohen. She has since collaborated with distinguished artists including William Parker, Andrew Cyrille, Yossi Fine, and Miki Gavrielov, and has performed as a soloist with The Jerusalem Orchestra East and West.
Currently, Ariel is working on a trio project featuring harmonica, cello, and piano. The trio has been active for the past three years, performing at various jazz festivals across Europe. Their upcoming album is set for release in spring 2025.
